We are excited to announce that two of our works were selected for exhibition in the St. Louis Artists’ Guild’s Elements of Abstraction national juried show. The juror for the show, Claire Ashley, teaches Contemporary Practices, Painting and Drawing at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Dave’s Last Light and our Tilton + Oeler collaboration Wind Wave will be on exhibit from November 20, 2015 through January 2, 2016 at the Guilds’ new location, 12 North Jackson at Forsyth. There will be an artists’ reception held on opening day and a gallery talk on December 9.

Previously, three of Dave’s pieces were shown by the St. Louis Artists’ Guild at their Ann Metzger Memorial National juried exhibition held in 2010. One of his works, Dismembered Lakes, won the Karen Mills Prize at that show.

For more information on Elements of Abstraction, see stlouisartistsguild.org or cartastudioworks.com.

We had a fantastic year at Edgewood Orchard Galleries and although the 2015 season has officially ended there, our works can still be viewed online at edgewoodorchard.com or our website cartastudioworks.com. Works can be purchased through Edgewood by calling (920) 868-3579 or by contacting us directly.
